Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.  – Isaiah 40:30-31

A friend of mine has a son who struggles with drug and alcohol abuse.  She was given a vision by God of Jesus standing in a field behind a fence with His arms wide open. Her son was standing on the other side of the fence. As the vision unfolded, she watched her son walk through the gate and into the arms of Jesus. It comforted her knowing that no matter what happened to her son… she knew that he was in good hands. It helped her to fully trust and SURRENDER her child to the One who is fully trustworthy.

Josephine reminds us that we don’t have to be a slave to fear or despair and that our God is Sovereign. He loves our children even more than we do, and He gives every child the opportunity to receive the free gift of grace. Josephine reminds us to cross on over to the Promised Land where not only the grass is green but the soil is fertile and the flowers bloom to their fullest potential. So many times we choose our ways vs. His ways, and as a result… we suffer from lack of freedom to BLOOM BIG! Remember who you are in Christ Jesus and your path becomes fertile… filled with fragrant blooms for all to inhale.

A testimonial vision from a powerful praying mom. This vision came to her when her world as she knew it had completely fallen apart. When left by her husband to raise three young boys alone, she prayed and did the best she could to lead and guide them by God’s golden rule. Then one day, her dream was shattered and two of her three hearts were enticed down the destructive road of heroin addiction. God gave her a dream one night of climbing a steep mountain with her two children in tow, and she finally made it to the top. The top… a place… above all of her present circumstances… above the storm… A place to look beyond… to Rise Above with Heart Filled Hands and remember God STILL has plans for her family and that they are not her present circumstances.

Josephine reminds us that sometimes our greatest disappointments can be our greatest blessings. God’s restoration of her family will be a testament to His Splendor!

Another testimonial vision from a dear sweet friend, Mary, who is a 47 year warrior woman fighting a life long battle of cystic fibrosis.  She learned at an early age that the world is not always a fun place… filled with hurt, pain and isolation due to her sickness, God gave her a vision of a meadow with green grass, blue skies and one single cloud… This vision became her Happy Place!  A place of peace and calm… An escape!  Josephine twirls within her world remembering she’s got peace growing between her toes and fresh air tickling her nose.

New Song Sings was painted for an incredible woman who spreads daily hope through daily hand written prayers for over 22,000 woman who’s children are struggling with addiction. Her husband actually had this vision before she left for a mission trip to Ethiopia to encourage the women living in poverty. He saw her getting out of a pit and standing on a rock singing a song. When she looked back down at the pit.. she saw others looking up at her with golden faces. The vision showed me that it is the love of God that brings freedom to anyone and it is available to all of us. We don’t have to live in shame because of what Christ did on the cross. HE is the living water and He can put a new song in our heart.

Josephine reminds us that nothing we have done is ever so far out of the reach of God that He can’t forgive us. We must always extend that same love and gratitude to others. Josephine sings a new song remembering she’s set free from captivity. Her song calls many from the dark and dreary pit to take hold of the plumb-line of living water and rise above the darkness and into the light. She stands firm on a foundation of the ONE WHO SAVES. Her notes of praise summon unseen angels in the spirit realm to glorify the

ONE WHO SEES.

This one started out with intentions of painting a special message shared by a close friend…

but turned into an enormous angel taking over the canvas.

Josephine reminds us that the safest place on earth is in the Shadow of His wings

and that if we call on the Lord,

He will send angels to encamp around us to protect us and deliver us from all of our fears.

So pitch a tent in His Hope filled Presence

and enjoy the peace promised to you!

TO BE OR NOT TO BE….THAT IS THE QUESTION   – WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

I have a very talented friend who is gifted in the performing arts…  When she is on that stage her whole being comes alive and you can tangibly feel the Joy emanating out of her.  No fears, no condemnation, no doubts, no sadness…  We are all captured by her freedom parading around on the stage and calling us all in to her present moment… My conclusion is that Kathy has found HER HAPPY PLACE!  Yes!  She’s using the deeply rooted gifts given to her and sharing them for our delight… but also… She’s staying in the Moment which is what we all yearn to be in!  For Kathy… she makes it look so easy to be free on that stage.

To quote Shakespeare yet again… ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE…. When we tap into our God-given talents…we are closer to Him and His purpose for us!  Now the test is staying in that precious place even when we’re off the stage and being tested by the day-to-day hustle and bustle of life…I do believe it is possible!  Josephine reminds us… TO BE… Present … so we can run this race with endurance…

Have one of these painted for yourself or a friend, a mom, a dad, a sister, a brother to remember to JUST BE!

This vision was given to me… when my husband and I had exhausted all avenues to find help for someone near and dear to our heart who had fallen into a hopeless pit. I felt like God was telling me if I could just look for something positive in each moment… even if it was as simple as another breath… then I could make it through this tough season without losing the joy God had intended for us all.

Josephine reminds us to be thankful in all circumstances and to look for the Green Grass and Silver Linings on even the darkest days!
