The stillness of Louisiana’s marshland meets the soft, open sky,
and time seems to pause.
It’s here,
amidst this tranquil beauty,
that a pair of mallards takes flight…
graceful, timeless, and filled with stories
waiting to be uncovered.
Some angels don’t arrive with fanfare or glitter.
Instead, they are stitched into the quiet places…
woven from the earth itself,
rich with the textures of life.
For those weary days
when feeling
a little ruffled around the edges…
as a few more wrinkles
lay claim to fresh facial ground…

dressed in layers of quiet beauty and mystery,
waiting to capture the heart of someone
who truly understands the magic I hold inside.
This is the first piece of artwork I did that opened the doors to my artworld.
She is a wave breaker who helped me realize…
