Living in the Louisiana Boot ,
birds are a popular sight on the horizon …
especially ducks!
Their handsome color coded feathers
have always intrigued me.
(& also a subliminal reminder to
“get my ducks in a row”)
Recently,
the curious nature within
kept nudging me
to ponder these little guys
in a pool of paint.
After painting
the well known Mallard Drake
and his beloved Hen,
the question kept surfacing…
‘How many duck species
flock
to our
Louisiana skies”
…
Any guesses?
