My Grandma Bell
was one of those people who literally
turned her whole world
into a garden!

As a child…
it was a place
where my imagination
ran wildly free…

A barefooted mess was what I was!

Thankfully,
that curious natured little girl
was taking copious notes
on her fascinating finds…
only to discover many decades later
the value that she held within
were hidden treasures
from long ago.

Painting this piece brought me back
to those childhood dreams!
